A Giraffe with an Afro

Yesterday I drew a Giraffe for my sister. My only request from her was that she would pay me the 17 dollars she owes me and take a picture of the drawing for me before giving it to her favorite band member of Allstar Weekend (a band). She did give it to the celebrity (oh good for her! :)) But I’m now really sad, because she didn’t take a picture of it! D: I love that afro giraffe! I forgave her, I just hate when I don’t have a memory of my work. My only memory is a video of my sister giving it to Cameron.

I hope the band members liked it, it was commissioned by my sister just for them. She wanted a baby giraffe, but I felt like drawing a giraffe with sun glasses and an afro.

Cooperative Federalism

“Marble Cake” an overlap in the responsibility (ties) of the various levels of government is likely in our form of federalism.

Unfunded mandates

1. Force the states to pay for policies they may not want or have not chosen.

2. Are strongly criticized by state and local officials

3. Thier are requirements that the national government places on the states without granting the states the funds to carry out the requirements.

When our country had it first constitution we were a confederation- limiting the power of the central government we created so it could not control the states or individuals directly.
